Koots Green Tea serves a wide variety of hand-crafted tea beverages using high quality tea leaves, matcha powder, and other wholesome ingredients. We use ceremonial-grade organic matcha, and offer these drinks hot or iced, and with a choice of milk options; including soy milk and rBST hormone-free whole or non-fat milk. Try them with our unique assortment of specialty baked Japanese & European cookies and desserts, or with one of our other healthy menu offerings. Matcha
Produced from specially grown tencha ("Heaven's Tea") leaves; matcha is ground into a fine powder after steaming, drying, and removing the leaf veins and stems. Matcha has been used for centuries in the Japanese Tea Ceremony and currently enjoys wide popularity as a highly nutritious beverage rich in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, fiber, and amino acids. Koots uses only pure, certified-Organic matcha in all of our matcha-based drinks. Koots Matcha is served traditionally in a ceramic tea bowl, or is available to take with you in a cup to go.

Specialty Tea Creations (Available Hot or Iced)
Matcha Americano: Koots Organic Matcha with additional water. All the flavor and nutrition of matcha, but drinks like brewed tea.
Matcha Latte: Koots Organic Matcha blended with steamed or iced milk. No fillers or sweeteners added!
Kuromitsu Latte: Matcha Latte enhanced with natural Japanese molasses. Slightly sweet with a rich, mellow taste.
Hojicha Latte: Roasted green tea with steamed or iced milk. Toasty flavor with low caffeine.
Matcha Chocolat: Rich white chocolate blended with our Matcha Latte, a perfect pairing for chocolate and tea lovers!
Hojicha Chocolat: Koots Hojicha Latte blended with rich white chocolate; toasty and mellow.

Hand-Brewed Loose Leaf Teas
Sencha: A first-flush green tea organically grown in Kagoshima Prefecture. Mild with a delicate sweetness and refreshing aroma. Very high in Vitamin C and antioxidants.
Yame Midori: A high quality fukamushicha, or "deep-steamed," tea from the prestigious tea region of Yame in Fukuoka Prefecture. A deep green leaf with rich flavor and aroma.
Hojicha: Roasting Koots organically-grown green tea leaves over high heat results in this savory and aromatic tea with a mellow, toasted flavor and low levels of tannins and caffeine.
Genmaicha: Koots Organic Genmaicha uses premium Kagoshima-grown sencha leaves combined with roasted brown rice (genmai) to create a mild tea with a slightly nutty taste.
